The fact that the recipes areprovided using different methods (graphical user interface, commandline and scripting) means that the book is suitable for anyone workingwith AD on a day-to-day basis. The introduction of PowerShell examplesin this latest edition will be of particular interest for those lookingto transition from VBScript. Laura has also done a great job inextending the Cookbook in this edition to encompass the broad range ofchanges to AD in Windows Server 2008.” –Tony Murray, Founder ofActivedir.org and Directory Services MVP “If you already understandActive Directory fundamentals and are looking for a quick solution tocommon Active Directory related tasks, look no further, you have foundthe book that you need.” –joe Richards, Directory Services MVP “TheActive Directory Cookbook is the real deal… a soup-to-nuts catalog ofevery administrative task an Active Directory administrator needs toperform.
