Peter Wainwright is a developer and software engineer specializingin Perl, Apache, and other open-source projects. He got his first tasteof programming on a BBC Micro and gained most of his early programmingexperience writing applications in C on Solaris. He then discoveredLinux, shortly followed by Perl and Apache, and has been happilyprogramming there ever since.He is an active proponent of commercialpassenger space travel and cofounded Space Future Consulting, aninternational space tourism consultancy firm.
