James L. (Jim) Weaver is the Senior VP of Technology at VerianaNetworks, Inc. He writes books, speaks for groups and conferences, andprovides training and consulting services on the subjects of Java andJavaFX. He also posts regularly to his blog at www.JavaFXpert.com whosestated purpose is to help the reader learn JavaFX Script and otherJavaFX technologies.
Weiqi Gao is a principal software engineer with Object Computing,Inc. in St. Louis, MO. He has over 15 years of software developmentexperience and has been using Java technology since 1998. He isinterested in programming languages, object–oriented systems,distributed computing, and graphical user interfaces. He is a member ofthe steering committee of the St. Louis Java Users Group. Weiqi holds aPh.D. in mathematics.
Open–source developer and agile manager, Stephen Chin is founder ofnumerous open-source projects including WidgetFX and JFXtras and SeniorManager at Inovis in Emeryville, CA. He has been working with Javadesktop and enterprise technologies for over a decade, and has apassion for improving development technologies and process. Dean Iverson has been writing software professionally for over 15years.
