The parentNode property returns the parent node of the specified element.
parenetNode属性的作用是：返回指定元素的父节点。

Syntax

elementNode.parentNode

In all examples, we will use the XML file books.xml, and the JavaScript function loadXMLDoc().

The following code fragment gets the parent node from the first <title> element in "books.xml":
