The alt property sets or returns an alternate text to be displayed, if a browser cannot show an area.
alt属性可设置或返回替换用的文字，针对那些无法显示area的浏览器

areaObject.alt=alternate_text

The following example returns the alternate text for the "Venus" area in the image-map:
举例将返回热点图中针对"Venus"area的替换文字：
