The getAttribute() method gets an attribute value by name.
getAttribute()方法获取指定名称所对应的属性值。

elementNode.getAttribute(name)

Parameter 参数	Description 描述
name	Required. Specifies the attribute to get the attribute value from 必要参数。指定获取名称所对应的属性值

In all examples, we will use the XML file books.xml, and the JavaScript function loadXMLDoc().

The following code fragment gets the value of the "category" attribute in all <book> elements:
