The mysql_client_encoding() function returns the name of the character set for the current connection.
mysql_client_encoding()函数的作用是：返回当前连接的字符集的名称。

mysql_client_encoding(connection)

Parameter 参数	Description 描述
connection	Optional. Specifies the MySQL connection. If not specified, the last connection opened by mysql_connect() or mysql_pconnect() is used. 可选参数。指定MySQL连接。如果未指定该参数，那将默认使用mysql_connect()函数或 mysql_pconnect()函数建立连接
