定义和用法

The <xsl:preserve-space> element is used to define the elements for which white space should be preserved.
<xsl:preserve-space>元素的作用是：定义需要保留空白行符的元素。

The <xsl:strip-space> element is used to define the elements for which white space should be removed.
<xsl:strip-space>元素的作用是：定义需要删除空白行符的元素。

Note: Preserving white space is the default setting, so using the <xsl:preserve-space> element is only necessary if  the <xsl:strip-space> element is used.
注意：保留空白行符时默认的设置，因此，如果使用了<xsl:strip-space>元素，那么就必须使用<xsl:preserve-space>元素。

Note: The <xsl:preserve-space> element and the <xsl:strip-space> element are top-level elements.
注意： <xsl:preserve-space> 元素和<xsl:strip-space>元素都是顶级元素。

Syntax

<xsl:preserve-space elements="list-of-element-names"/>
<xsl:strip-space elements="list-of-element-names"/>

Attributes
属性

属性 值 描述
elements list-of-element-names

Required. A white space separated list of element names for which white space should be preserved/removed.
必要参数。指定元素名称列表，支出是否需要为这个列表保留/删除空格行符

Note: The list can also contain "*" and "prefix:*" so that all elements or all elements from a particular namespace can be joined
注意：这个列表可以包含"*"和前缀：*"，因此，所有元素或来自于特定命名空间的所有元素都可以包含其中

Example 1

In the example below we preserve white space nodes for title and artist elements, and remove white space nodes for country, company, price, and year elements:
